Gina's first
release - POWER
I
wrote Power when I was 16 yrs old. I was going through some
stuff that was hard in my life. And I wanted to be more of an
influence to my peers. One night at home I was crying out to the
Lord and through his Word He gave me Power that I had never had
before. I went to school and started telling the story of what
Christ has done for me. Not just by my words but by my actions.
That was one of the many turning points in my life that God helped
me be bold in my walk with Him.
Awesome God You Are, was written on the way back from a
National Day of Prayer event I was singing at. The song just came
out... It is more of a praise song.
I Come to You With an Open Heart, Oh this song is my
favorite on the album. It is a Heartsong to the Lord.

First, I want to thank my most
awesome, wonderful savior Jesus for giving me "new life". There is nothing that I could have done
to deserve forgiveness. I just believed , and I trusted in the finished work
you did
for me on that cross two thousand years ago. Because you rose from
the
dead, I have this amazing opportunity to sing to you. I thank you
lord for giving me these songs. The only thing I have ever wanted to do
for you, is to sing and praise your holy name. Now is the time to let
my testimony rain. Love from my heart to yours.

THANK my Savior Jesus for giving me "new life". There is
nothing that I could have done to deserve forgiveness. I just

THIS ALBUM IS DEDICATED TO MY MOM, Darlene Howe (1941 - 1996).
Thank you Mom for all the lessons you taught me, especially when
you said, "Don't wait until you look a certain way or to be a
perfect person to go for your dreams." Mom, you're right.
God's palm is the best place to be!
SPECIAL THANKS to my wonderful husband, "Steve-o". Your
support, prayers, and love have been so encouraging on this
musical journey. I love you, "Gino"
