I grew up in a small town of Chiloquin, Oregon. We had the mountains, streams, lakes and I had a big rock on the side of the mountain that was in my back yard. I would sit, smell the juniper tree and sing out to the Lord. Praising Him for everything I saw.  My Mom came to know the Lord when I was 9 yrs old. She loved to sing and write songs.  I wanted to be just like her. So, I started playing guitar and we sang together. Then I started writing my own music and  singing with my sister Dixie.

I have been writing lyrics since the age of 10yrs old. I still remember my first song "Jesus". Most of the songs that I wrote were in my teen years. I would get my guitar out, sing, cry and write my feelings down. Then I would get my old King James Bible out and sing the words from Psalms. I could relate to David's heart and his love for God. 

Worship comes from the heart. Not a song. I believe that God "loves" a worshiper. He wants his children to worship him in spirit and in truth. All I have ever wanted to do is to sing to the Lord, worship Him and give Him all of the Glory and Honor.
